Email support@gotgamenow.com and a person will read it. We are a small team in Britain, so it may not be instant, but it will be a person.
If somebody is in danger, contact the emergency services first. Then tell us — email the address above with URGENT in the subject line.
Open their profile and use the menu at the top right. Block user stops them contacting you or joining a game you are in. Report abuse sends it to us. You can report a game, a club or a message the same way.
Blocking is private. They are not told, and nothing in the app reveals it to them.
If somebody has blocked you, you cannot join a game they are in — not as a player, not on the waiting list, and not as the host. The app gives the same short refusal every time and never says which person or why, because anything more would identify who blocked you.
It works one way round on purpose. If you blocked them, you can still join a game they are in — the app tells you how many people you have blocked are already there and leaves the decision to you. And nobody is ever removed from a game they have already joined.
Check the number, including the country code, and give it a minute before asking for another one. If you have linked an email address to your account, you can use Login with email instead on the sign-in screen and we will send the code there. That only works if the email was linked beforehand, in Settings → Account settings.
There is no password and no passkey. A code is the only way in. If neither code arrives, email us.
Got Game is not open to everyone yet. If nobody at Got Game has given you access, a code will not arrive however many times you ask for one. Email us and we will sort it out, or put your email in on the front page and we will tell you when it opens where you play.
Your number is how you sign in, and there is no way to move an account to a new number yet. If you still have the old number, link an email address to your account now — Settings → Account settings — and you will be able to get in without it. If you have already lost the number, email us. We cannot promise a recovery, but we would rather know.
Settings → Account settings → Delete account. Your profile disappears from the app straight away, and after 30 days the account is erased.
You can stop it at any point in those 30 days: go back to the same screen and tap Keep my account. Signing back in does not cancel it on its own — the clock keeps running until you tap that button.
One thing worth knowing before you do it. Anything you shared with other people — messages in a game's chat, photos in a club's gallery, games you hosted, scores you were part of — stays, with your name replaced. It has to: deleting it would rewrite other people's record of games they played. Everything that is only yours goes.
Settings → Edit profile. The photo saves the moment you choose it; the rest saves when you tap save.
Tap Find in the header, then open the filters and widen the search radius — it steps through 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 15, 25 and 50 miles. You can set the distance you usually want in Settings → Search preferences so you are not changing it every time.
And it may genuinely be quiet where you are. Got Game is new, and in some parts of the country there is not much on yet. Every padel court in Britain is in the app even where the games are not, so it is worth looking at what is near you and starting something.
You do not have to watch it. When somebody drops out, whoever has been waiting longest goes straight onto the roster and is told. Nobody chooses — they have all already said yes, so it is first come, first on. The same happens if the host makes room for more players.
Yes, from the game's page. Do it as early as you can. People not turning up is what kills a game for the other three, which is why the app keeps an Attendance figure on your profile — it appears once you have a few games behind you, and dropping out early costs you far less than not appearing.
Wherever you said it came from, and the app shows it. A number you set yourself reads as exactly that, next to somebody else's number brought over from elsewhere. Nobody has to trust a number whose source they cannot see.
The setting is Public skill ratings, on your own profile and in Settings. Turning it off hides the level you have earned from your results — and it also takes you out of level search, so people filtering by level will not find you. That is the trade, and the app says so on the switch.
Nobody, including you. The app never shows who gave a particular rating.
A club's own address is shown to its members. Its sessions are a separate thing: most are open to anyone, but a club can choose to keep its sessions for members, and then they do not appear to anyone else at all.
Open the link and it will do the rest. If you only have the code itself, open the app and use Enter a code — six characters is a club invite, eight is a game somebody wants to add to your record.
